Horsham & District Canine Society
It was a mid-week show today, at Horsham and District, Glenauld Glamourama delighted us by winning 1st puppy and Best Puppy Glenauld Gervais not to be out done by Glam was 2nd in Open, Under Breed Specialist Vicky Mewitt (Paxis). In the Group Glam was group 2 Under Vicky Bell (Surfstone) Thank you to both Judges.

Newton Abbott Open Show
Today we went to Newton Abbott Open show in Exeter 'Glamour' exceded herself and was 1st puppy and Best Puppy in Breed, unfortunatly we were unable to stay for the group, but thank you to the judge Mrs P. Jeans-Brown
National Working & Pastoral Championship Show
Today at National Working & Pastoral Breeds Championship Show Glenauld Glamourama continued to shine with a 4th in minor Puppy bitch out of 17 entries which was one of the biggest of the day, thank you to the Judge International Breed Specialist Mr Karl Eric Johansson.
East Of England Championship Show
At East of England Championship show today Glenauld Gervais was first in the ring and he was 4th in Post Graduate dog then it was Glenauld Glamourama who was also 4th in Minor puppy puppy under top all rounder Peter Bailey.
Winsor Championship Show
Today we were at Winsor Championship show, its a lovely show set in the shadows of Winsor Castle, Glenauld Gervais was in Post Graduate Dog & was 4th under breed specialist Linda Carnaby - Tartarian
Southern Counties Championship Show
It was a local day today at Southern Counties Championship Show in Newbury, continuing her good start to the year, and in her first Graduate class Glenauld River Island was 3rd, and newest addition making her first appearance in the UK was also 3rd in Minor Puppy, Which qualified her for Crufts at her first attempt. European Winners Show - Dublin
We had our first experience of an FCI show this weekend, Dublin had the honour of hosting this years European Winners Show after a 'very' long trip up to Runcorn we had an early night then it was off to Holyhead to catch the Ferry, the 3 hours seemed to fly by as it was FA cup day and it started and finnished the the same time! once in Dublin we met up with the 'Glenaulds' and enjoyed a lovely evening together. Showday! - having spoken to some other exhibitors who went the show the day before we decided to leave very early for what was a 2min journey! and what a nightmare it was nobody really seemed to no were the correct carpark was so we spent over an hour just trying to park!! it was all worth while though as Glenauld Gervais was graded Excellent which is the highest for adult dogs, and our newest addition Glenauld Glamourama on her European Debut was graded Very Promising which again is the highest for the puppys and she was also placed second. Tyne Wear & Tees Boxer Championship Show
It was a 'very' long trip on an extremely busy M1 plus a nights stay to go to Tyne Wear and Tees, in Durham with just Glenauld Gervais flying the flag he was 5th in Graduate Dog under Denise Mastaglio - Alexval. With a unusually early finish, we found ourselves at the retail park across the road on a mini shopping trip! perfect way to end a day!!
Merseyside Boxer Club Championship Show
After making the trip up from Wales we spent the night with some friends having a meal out before returning to our Travelodge, for an early start sunday to get to the Merseyside Boxer Club Championship Show Glenauld River Island was first in the ring again in Novice and excelled herself one place better than the day before to take 1st under Paul Harding - Pringham. It was then Glenauld Gervais's turn in one the biggest classes of the day Post Graduate Dog and he was also 1st, under Portugese Judge Mr Luis Gorgao - Henriques, making it a very good weekend for us!
Working & Pastoral of Wales Championship Show
It was a long and winding road to get to the show today Glenauld River Island was in Novice and excelled herself to 2nd under Terry Donovan - Craigdon
Northern Boxer Club Championship Show
It was a special day for the Northern Boxer Club as they were celebrating there Diamond Anniversary and each exhibitor recieved a lovely show bag, we had a good day when only making her second appearence of the year Glenauld River Island was 5th in Novice bitch thank you to the judge Karina Le Mare.
Midland Boxer Club Championship Show
It was our second Championship Show of the year, the Midland Boxer Club, Glenauld Gervais excelled himself to 3rd in one of the biggest classes of the day, Post Graduate dog. Thank you to the judge Breed Specialist Marion Grainger.

Newton Abbot & South Devon Canine Society
We Had another successful today at Newton Abbot & South Devon show we only had Glenauld Gervais entered and he was 1st Open Dog, then went on the Best of Breed and finished the day off with Group 3 under all rounder John Thomson.
Manchester Championship Show
It was the First Champ show of the year today, we only had Glenauld Gervais entered and were thrilled when he was placed third in Post Graduate Dog making him Crufts Qualified at his first attempt! Thank You to the Judge Ann Wildman - Wildax
Taunton & District
Another trip to Royal Bath and West Showground, today for the Taunton and District show we only had Glenauld Gervais entered and he excelled himself to win 1st Open Dog and then went on to win Best Of Breed under all rounder - Jan Lefevre (Jasle)
Weston - Super - Mare CS
A break away from all the festivities today, at Weston - Super - Mare Canine society we only had Glenauld Gervais entered and he was second in open dog under breed specialist Terry John - Westernmoor)
Cotswold Boxer CLub
It was the turn of the Cotswold Boxer Club Championship show, this is one of our favourite shows as it always feels very Christmasie! plus its a great opportunity for everyone to give out there christmas cards! we had a lovely day and Glenauld River Island was 4th in Novice Bitch, under breed specialist Helen Banks - Norwatch Sunhawk.
South Wales Boxer Championship Show
Today at South Wales Boxer Club Championship Show we only Showed our new boy 'Glenauld Gervais' and were delighted when he was 3rd in Post Graduate dog under breed specialist Val Pack-Davidson (Verilieas). We now have a couple of weeks brake before the the last breed championship show of the year, the Cotswold Boxer Club.
London & Home Counties Championship Show
It was a short trip to London & Home Counties Championship show we only had Dollar & River entered, Dollar was 5th in her first puppy class now aged just over 9months and River put on a sterling performance but went unplaced. So Thank you to the judge breed specialist Maureen Wragg - Harmaur
We also have some exciting news that will be released in the next couple of weeks so keeping checking back to find out what it is!!
Irish Weekend
The Irish weekend is renowed for being great, so this year we thought we'd take the plunge and go well, it certaintly won't be one we'll forget. we left home at 3am on friday to make the long trip up to Stanraer, we caught an afternoon ferry and met up with lots of other boxer people, once in Ireland it was a short trip to the hotel were we met our good friends the Glenaulds +Kevin! there was just enough time to get changed and head down for dinner. It was a relativly early night, and so saturday came along with the Irish Boxer Club Championship show we only showed River who went unplaced, but Congratulations to our friends who did well. Once Back at the Hotel after sorting the dogs and getting changed we were down for dinner, and Debbie Huggins - Daeverlish had organised for a disco, and what a night we had!! I can't spill to many details! because what goes on in Ireland Stays in Ireland!! and its a good job!! although to give a slight insight going to bed after 2 am and trying to get up again at5:30am is not the easiest task!! especially when alcohol was involved anyway at atleast we weren't the only ones!! Sunday was spent at Belfast Champ show and River unforunatly went unplaced but the Glenaulds did well with there young pup Prada who was best puppy in breed. It was a great weekend and we can definatly say we will be going next year!!
Richmond Championship Show
After nearly a month out of the show ring we returned to a rather wet Richmond showground! we had 2 dogs entered River, showed really well but in a strong yearling class went unplaced, and we also had our new hopeful Leigharac Diamond Game aka Dollar entered, in minor puppy bitch and at one of her first shows went on to win 3rd, giving her, her Crufts qualification. We also must say a very big welldone to our good friends at Glenauld, who won the reserve dog ticket with Star Attraction at Glenauld or Shaun to his friends! Thank You to the judge breed specialist Jean Watson - Roylark.
Bournemouth Championship Show
A very short drive today to our local Championship show, Bournemouth, Glenauld River Island continued her run again winning reserve in Novice Bitch but are star of the day was Leigharac Serenity who in her first Limit class was 3rd gaining her Stud book number, so she is now Crufts qualified for life! Thank you to the judge all rounder Mrs meg Purnell-Carpenter.
Paignton Championship Show
It was one of our more local Championship shows today, in Paignton Glenauld River Island again impressed with a reserve in Novice Bitch under well known all rounder Gerald Mitchel.
Leeds Championship Show
After a night away, we arrived early at Leeds Championship Show for a very hot long day! nevertheless it was worth while as Glenauld River Island continued her run by winning reserve in novice bitch under breed specialist Doreen Greaves - Barbarossa
Birthday Bash at EOECS!
It was East of England Championship show today (17th July) we had a Good day with Glenauld River Island winning 4th in Maiden Bitch under Breed Specialist Sandra Carter - Susancar we then had a mini party of cake and wine to celebrate my birthday which is tomorrow! Thank You to all our fellow exhibitors for the Birthday wishes! and a special thanks to my friend at Paxis boxers for the card and lovely gift, thanks Vicky!!
National Working & Pastoral Championship show
Today at National Working and Pastoral Championship Show on a rather unpredicable day weather wise! Leigharac Sereneity was place VHC in a strong Post graduate class thank you to the judge well known all rounder Mr Stuart Mallard.
March Night
We made a rare appearance at our local training club match night, last night, run by Christchurch and New Forest Canine society and to our delight Leigharac Serenity went reserve best in match! perhaps we should go more often!
Blackpool Champ
After a 5hour trip up to Blackpool Championship show we were faced with winds up 75mph winds, in the morning we were all told to go into our wet whether tents as the Best in Show marque was unsafe and at one stage was being held up by 4 tractors! it did eventually give way in the afternoon. Sadly though in the early after noon the whether became so severe the show was cancelled we were unable to show any of our girls but were just glad to be alive, as our tent completely collapsed just 10mins after the abandoment. A terriffing experience but thankfully all boxer folk got out safe with just a couple of minor injuries, although i do believe there were a couple of more serious injuries in the catering department we wish everyone well.

Exeter and County
We had a nice scenic route down to Exeter for the Exeter and County open show, Leigharac Serenity won a respectable 2nd in post grad but our star was Glenauld River Island who was 1st in her junior class then went on to take reserve best of breed. Thank you to the judge Mrs Chris Parker
Christchurch & New Forest CS
This must be our most local show on the callender held by Christchurch and Newforest Canine Society Glenauld River Island was 2nd in Yearling but our star again was Leigharac Serenity who won her open Class and went Best Of Breed under Breed Specialist James Whitfield - Farfield. Then in the group she went Group 4 under well none judge Albert Wight, Thank you to both judges.
Southern Counties
Today we went to Southern Counties there was a huge entry the biggest in show! unfortunatly none of our girls were placed, but we had a lovely day, & our friend at Paxis Boxers, Vicky had a great day winning 2nd to the eventual CC winner in Post Grad Bitch with Betsy, which now means shes Crufts qualified so Well Done!
Taunton & District
It was a short trip today to go to the Taunton and District open show its always a nice day as there is the Royal Bath and West Agricultural show on at the same time. The classes were split into dogs and bitches we had Glenauld River Island entered in Junior bitch she came a very nice 3rd out of 8 and Leigharac Serenity was 4th in Post Grad bitch, Thank you to the judge Mr P. Melville - Jeddhi
Bath Championship Show
Today at a rather wet and rainy Bath Championship Show both our girls Leigharac Serenity (Becky) and Glenauld River Island (River) were placed River was 3rd in a strong Junior Bitch class and Becky was also 3rd in an equally strong Post Graduate Bitch class thank you to the judge Mrs P Bailey.
Devon County / SKC
We've had a busy weekend, it started on thursday when we went to Devon County its always a nice show as its an agricultural show aswell, Glenauld River Island was 4th in a strong Junior Bitch Class but Leigharac Serenity continued to shine by winning her Post Graduate bitch class and then go on to win Best Bitch Thank you to the judge Sam Higgs - Miaboss
Not really recovering from thursday and slightly sleep deprived we set off on friday for a rather long 7hrs drive on a very busy M6! to Statheven in Scotland which was were our B&B was it was an early night as we had another early start on saturday to get to Edingburgh for the Scottish Champ show, only Leigharac Serenity was shown and although un placed she was shortlisted to the final 7 in the biggest class of the day post graduate bitch. it was then back to the B&B and a night out at the Strathaven Hotel before we drove home on sunday and back to work on monday!
Northern Boxer Club Championship Show
It was again another very early start for us to go to the Northern Boxer Club Championship show in West Yorkshire, Leigharac Serenity continued to shine winning 4th in a very strong Post Graduate class thank you to the judge well known breed specialist Mrs Julie Cook - Manic
Mancunian Boxer Club Championship Show
Another very early start to take us up to Greater Manchester for the Mancunian Boxer Club Championship Show we had an awful journey up with the snow storms and at one stage it was so bad we had to pull off the motorway as it was too dangerous to continue! we did think about turning back and going home, but eventually it started to ease. we had River entered in Junior it was the biggest class of the day with 23 entrants although unplaced she was pulled into the final cut of about 8, it was then Becky's class she was in Post Graduate in the second biggest class! of 21 and again although again unplaced she was also pulled in to the final cut of about 8. Essex & Eastern Boxer Club Championship Show
Another early start which was made even earlier by the clocks going forward an hour! Anyway, all was worth while as Leigharac Serenity continued to shine being placed 3rd in Post Graduate bitch which now makes her Crufts qualified for 2009. Glenauld River Island although unplaced showed her socks off! Thank you to the judge Breed Specialist Sagra Tonkin - Tonatron
Crufts
It was a very early start this morning so we could get to Crufts nice an early we only had Becky Entered even though River had qualified as well she was in post Graduate Bitch although we were unplaced we were pulled in to the final 6 respectively so effectivly we were 6th! Thank You to the judge Mrs Janice Mair (Glenauld)
Our day was not over though as are friends Sandra Huckerby and Greg Dowell of the Norilbeck / Bellchime affixes had a fantastic day as there Ch. Bellchime Special Edition won the open bitch class, the bitch CC and then went BOB so congratulations to all concerned.
A Short Stay in Germany!

On Monday (10th Dec) I went to Germany to See One of Tinkerbells Puppies from This Year who was exported, namely Leigharac Bosun's Locker, aka Lenny! pictured above, you can certaintly see he's grown! Now aged 7 months we thinks he's maturing into a lovely dog, and his head profile makes you melt!
I had a fantastic time seeing the different parts of the black forest area! A German Sausage from a German Market, a German Waffle and Coffee and Cake! A Huge Thankyou to Dorit and Tom for there Great Hospitally I Love it!

At Cotswold Boxer club Championship show we were absolutly delighted when Leigharac Serenity from the biggest entry of the year was 1st in Post Graduate bitch out of 27 under very well known all rounder Frank Kane. Thank You to all Concerned

At Liskeard & District Glenauld River Island was a respectable 3rd in the puppy class and Leigharac Serenity was 1st in Graduate then went on to win reserve best of breed and 2 in the reserve BOB Group! (Confusing i know!) under breed specialist Dr Margaret Baynes - Docrema
Portsmouth & Southsea Show
At Portsmouth and Southsea Glenauld River Island Continued to shine by winning the junior class (there wasn't a puppy class) and was best puppy, Leigharac Serenity didnt disapoint by winning 2nd in Open thank You to the Judge Mr N Melliing - Penpriory
Daddies a Champion!
At Driffield Championship Show it gives me great pleasure in congratulating Janice,Lynn and Suzanne Mair of the Glenauld Kennels on gaining Gucci's 3rd CC namely Designer Game at Glenauld JW or River's Daddy which now makes him into a Champion as a kennel we are very pround to own a dog by him and are absolutly thrilled on his success!

At Thame show today Glenauld River Island was 1st in the Puppy class then went on to win Best Puppy in Breed and not to disapoint Leigharac Serenity was 1st in Post Graduate thank you to the judge Breed Specialist Eric Hancock - Kathphiler
Richmond Championship Show
At Richmond Leigharac Sernenity was in the cards again when she was 4th in a big Post graduate bitch class of 19 thank you to the judge breed specialist Ian Basnett - Eriska.
City of Birmingham Championship Show
At City of Birmingham today are success continued as Leigharac Serenity won VHC in a very strong class of 18 in post Graduate bitch under Swedish Judge Moa Persson plus congratulations to the 'Mairs' on there continued success as they finnished the day winning the reserve bitch CC for Lotto!
Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show
After an all day trip up to Scotland we finally arrive at out B&B and settled down for the evening as it was an early start in the morning to the Show at the Royal Highland Showground in Edingburgh nevertheless all was worth while as Glenauld River Island was 3rd in minor puppy bitch but are star of the day Leigharac Serenity who was 2nd in Post Graduate Bitch thank you to the judge breed specialist Jenny Townsend - Jenroy it was then a short trip back to were we where staying and we spent the evening celebrating our win with River's Breeders Janice, Lynn and Suzanne Mair with a bottle of Champaign as they also had a good day as they won the reserve Bitch CC with Capri!
Gillingham and Shaftesbury Canine Association
At Gillingham and Shaftesbury Canine Society it was Glenauld River Islands first open show and she won a respectable 2nd in puppy under breed specialist Maggie Knight - Sarsbrook
Glenauld River Island Qualifies!
After a long trip up to Leeds and at only her fourth show Glenauld River Island was 3rd in a very strong Minor Puppy class just behind her half sister Glenauld Tamara who was 2nd at Leeds City and District Canine Association Champion ship show. A huge Thank You to the judge Denise Mastiglio.
Poole Canine Society
At the Poole Canine open show the wheather was extremely wet to say the least! never the less it was worth it as Leigharac Serenity continued her winning streak winning the post graduate class and Best Opposite sex under breed Specialist Glenda Tibbots.
Christchurch & New Forest Canine
At X-Church & New Forest Canine club Open show Leigharac Serenity Continued her winning Success by winning 1st in Open and then went on to win BOB thanks to the judge D. Weller.
Taunton & District Canine Society
At Taunton and District Canine Society we had a lovely day as there was an agricultural Show on as well but it was made better when Leigharac Serenity Won a big Limit class of 8 under Mick Gordon Thanks again to the judge.
Devon County Show
At the Devon County show where dogs and bitches were judged separetly in a big class Leigharac Serenity won Post Graduate bitch under Breed Specialist Melanie Downs - Wheeler (Kingswick) thankyou for thinking so highly of her.
Romsey and Disrict Canine Society
One of our more local shows Romsey & Disrict saw Leigharac Serenity - Becky gain 2nd in a respectable Post Graduate class thankyou to the judge Breed Specialist Sam Higgs (Miaboss).
Isle of White Canine Society
After a short trip across the water to the Isle of White we had a very good day when Sylvax Remember me at Leigharac was 2nd in Open but are star of the day was Leigharac Serenity who won the Post Graduate class, Best of Breed and although the show wasnt done on the group system she was Best Working and shortlisted into the final cut for Best in Show. Thankyou to the Judges on the day.
Essex and Eastern Boxers Championship Show
At Essex and Eastern Boxer Championship Show under Breed specialist Sid Reily Leigharac Serenity was 4th from a strong Post Graduate class.
Newton Abbot and South Devon Canine Society
At Newton Abbot Canine Society Leigharac Serenity - Becky won a very good Open bitch class and was in the contest for best of breed. Thankyou to the judge Mrs Ann Lunt.

We are pleased to say that after nearly a whole year out Lilly - Sylvax Remember at Leigharac has now made a full return to show ring and at the Exonian Canine club won 2nd in a very respectiable limit class of 9. Under Breed specialist Mrs Green from Glous.
